My ex and I broke up a lil over a month ago. I did beg at first, but stopped and only asked him questions about why when he would communicate with me. He had blocked me on FB but has since unblocked me. The only times we communicate now is when he messages me, like wanting to borrow my tent and air mattress for a trip that we had planned that he took another girl on. He started seeing her 2 weeks after we broke up. So what led to the break up was me questioning him about why he didnt want to get married and didnt believe in it. A couple of days after our disagreement, we dont really fight, he told me that he needed to let me go so that I could find someone that had the same beliefs as me and could give me what I wanted. But during one of our talks he said that he felt that our relationship was only temporary and that I never saw a future with him. Which I told him was crazy as I was wanting more and that he had been my future. I have been sticking to the no contact except when it comes to issues like today he asked for me to put his stuff on the porch and he would come by to pick up tonight after work. I just told him that I could do it sunday morning before I went out of town. No more responses. I know he is seeing someone. But what hurts is that not only did he cut me out of his life saying it was to painfull to see what I was up to but he did my family as well that loved him. HELP

I have bought the pro system and I’m a member of the fb grp. I stopped reading the first book because I don’t see my situation in it. My bd mother made him breakup with me 6 weeks ago. She said it was either her or I. He has what’s called mother enmeshement syndrome, psychologist Dr. Kenneth Adams has written a couple of books about this. He’s a college student who is financially dependent on his parents so when this happened he made her block me from all social media and didn’t let him come home for 3 weeks. I had forced NC until he came back and I drove to his house to see if I could fix the situation (begged and pleaded). He said he was in love with me before he left but now no longer. I found out 2 wks ago he’s dating an OW that could be my twin. I stopes reading the material because the catalyst if the breakup was his mother. Before he left we where looking at wedding rings and he old me our relationship was the best it had ever been. He couldn’t stop telling me how much he loved me the last night we spent together. Disclaimer he also has been diagnosed with ADHD which could be complicating things even further. I need your guidance and help.

Hi Ashley. I’m new to EBR and I am devastated. My boyfriend and I dated for a year and we were very much inlove despite alot of ups and downs. I will fully admit that I was the one who caused the break up. He dumped me because his parents made him do it. We loved each other very much but I realize now I had no love for myself and had so many insecurities that he ended up suffering for. It has now been 2 months since we broke up and it seems he’s already moved onto another woman, and to make matters worse he’s spending all day with her and he posts stuff on social media thats very sexual with regards to her and also other things about finding love again. It’s is hurting me so much. For the first month after our breakup I wrote him everyday and pleaded for him to come back. Before we broke up we were both a mess and cried and he told me one day we would be together again. But since then he has not uttered a word to me. I’ve stopped messaging and calling him now and I started the NC rule almost 3 weeks ago when I found out about this woman. I’m very disheartened because it doesn’t seem to be working and I fear he really has fallen for someone else. Please help.
